Advanced Nurse Practitioners are Registered Nurses who have done extra training and academic qualifications to be able to examine, assess, make diagnoses, treat, prescribe and make referrals for patients who present with undiagnosed/undifferentiated problems. They also provide education, advice and support for a range of health issues such as women's health, aged care, chronic disease management, asthma, mental health, population health and more. Our Advanced Nurse practitioner runs a triage clinic and also reviews results such as blood tests or scans.

Our practice nurse carries out a range of clinical tasks such as immunisations, cervical screening, wound care management, travel advice or

Healthcare Assistants
Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and supporting patients to be healthy by assessing their needs, health education advice, screening activities, wound care management, blood pressure measurement and new patient health checks. They may also act as a chaperone when required.

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Front of House Team
Our front of house team are responsible for booking appointments, answering the telephone, dealing with requests for repeat prescriptions and helping with general enquiries. They receive ongoing training in practice procedures and protocols. The team provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Please remember the team have a very difficult task to perform and that they must follow the instructions given to them by the doctors. Please also understand that they may need to ask sensitive questions when dealing with certain requests, particularly when assessing urgency. We hope that you find the professional and courteous approach by our staff helpful and welcoming. The team comprises of Rupal, Kashmira, Amara, Yousuf, Rashida, Jolanta and Mohammed.
Clinical Pharmacy Team
Clinical pharmacists and Pharmacists are increasingly working as part of general practice teams. They are highly qualified experts in medicines and can help people in a range of ways. This includes carrying out structured medication reviews for patients with ongoing health problems and improving patient safety, outcomes and value through a person-centered approach.
Pharmacy technicians complement the work of clinical pharmacists, through utilisation of their technical skillset. Their deployment within primary care settings allows the application of their acquired pharmaceutical knowledge in tasks such as medicines reconciliation, audits, prescription management support, and where appropriate, advising patients and other members of the PCN workforce.

Physician Associates
Physician associates are healthcare professionals, with a generalist clinical education, who work alongside GPs to provide care as part of the multidisciplinary team. They provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking and clinical assessment through to diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation. Whilst physician associates currently do not have prescribing rights prescribe, they can prepare prescriptions for GPs to sign.
