Welcome!! If you are a registered patient of Havergal Surgery. We would like to invite you to join our Virtual Patient Participation Group (VPPG). For more information - please download our Leaflet. Everyone over the age of 16 are welcome to join.

The aim of the group is to develop a dialogue between patients and practice to improve services and the level of care that we provide. As this is virtual, the group will be conducted by email. You will periodically receive an email for an anonymous survey in relation to the practice services and care.

The results will then be published online with our annual PPG report and we will meet face to face annually (permitting) initially a text was sent to all patient who have provided the practice with a mobile number and was directed to the Practice website to sign up. There is also a poster in the Practice waiting room.

We know attending in-person meetings isn’t always possible—whether it’s due to work, studies, family responsibilities, or simply a packed schedule. But your input is still incredibly valuable to us! We’re looking to build a diverse group of around 100 members, representing a wide range of patients: young people, busy professionals, parents, retirees, those with long-term conditions, and people from different ethnic backgrounds. No matter who you are, your input matters.

What is a VPPG?

VPPGs foster a collaborative relationship between the Practice and its patients, breaking down barriers and sharing vital information. By participating, you’ll also have the chance to influence decisions at a wider NHS level—ensuring patient voices are heard when it comes to shaping healthcare services.
